Taste of Ohev Supper Club

Strengthening Our Community...One Bite at a Time!

At the 2018 Annual Gala Celebration, we launched a new initiative to nourish the community in the year ahead. The Taste of Ohev Supper Club will pair talented Ohev chefs with Ohev guests to enjoy delicious kosher cuisine from around the world, wonderful company from around the community -- all while supporting the synagogue. Over the course of the year, our goal is to host at least 12 (in-home) meals, make 100 new connections, collect and share 50 recipes, and raise $10,000! But we need your help.

STEP 1: HOSTS
We are grateful to have 17 volunteer hosts who will be welcoming guests into their homes throughout the year. From Thai to Indian, Sefardi to vegetarian, and everything in between, these chefs are donating their meals and time to this exciting new community project.

STEP 2: GUESTS
Be a Guest - Do you love to eat? Are you interested in trying new and interesting cuisine while meeting new and interesting Ohev members? Each month we will introduce upcoming Supper Club events with first-come, first-served registration through ostns.org. Additional spaces will be reserved at each meal for new(ish) members. There is a suggested donation of $36/adult and $18/youth per meal, but there is no charge to participate.

STEP 3: SUPPORT & GRATITUDE
Donations for Taste of Ohev provide important financial support to our synagogue and give you the opportunity to thank your hosts for opening their homes to you. Additionally, in order to reach our fundraising goal of $10,000, there are opportunities to be a sponsor.  Support creative and delicious programming that brings together Ohev folks from all different demographics and social circles to build meaningful relationships and promote a more inclusive and collaborative community.  We are looking for generous sponsors at one of our 3 sponsorship levels. 

$3,600 Includes:
- Full year program sponsorship - name recognition or dedication of the Taste of OhevSupper Club (in memory of, in honor of, or in celebration of, etc.)
- Full year priority seating and 12 seats (to be used throughout the year)

$1,800 Includes:
- Seasonal program sponsorship (fall, winter, spring, or summer) - name recognition or dedication of the Taste of OhevSupper Club (in memory of, in honor of, or in celebration of, etc.) for the season of your choice
- Seasonal priority seating and 8 seats

$500 Includes:
- Individual meal sponsorship - name recognition or dedication of the Taste of Ohev Supper Club (in memory of, in honor of, or in celebration of, etc.) for the meal of your choice
- Sponsored meal priority seating and 4 seats
