Shabbat Lunch Hospitality This Week If anyone is in need of a meal this Shabbat due to kitchen construction, Sarah Gershman & Daniel Silverberg have generously offered to host. We will connect guests with hosts at the end of the announcements.
The Capital Kosher Pantry needs donations of unused school supplies (backpacks and other supplies), as well as kosher food pantry items. To donate, please see the regularly updated wish lists at yadyehuda.org/pantry-wishlist.html.
Get More Involved! Like many communities, we rely on volunteers to help make Ohev such a vibrant shul. We are fortunate to have volunteers to assist in many key areas -- but more are always needed. Please consider getting involved by joining (or taking a leadership role) in one of our synagogue committees. Whether you have several hours a week or even a few hours a month, there is an opportunity for you to volunteer and help make a difference in our community. Visit ostns.org/committees to see a full list of committees and contact information (must be logged into ostns.org account to view).
This Week's Haftarah Video
Our beloved member, Hal Brodsky, Z"L, created short videos explaining an aspect of each week's haftarah. Each week, the Shabooom plans to share Hal's d'var haftarah with the community. Click here before Shabbat for a 2.5-minute video about Vaetchanan's haftarah.
