High Holiday Youth Choir
Join the children of Ohev Sholom for the High Holiday Youth Choir! Participants will practice High Holiday tunes on the Shabbatot preceding the High Holidays, before singing them in front of the congregation on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur! REHEARSALS ARE THIS SHABBAT, at 11:15a in the Youth Lounge, or immediately following services. Other rehearsal dates are September 9 and September 16, and will all take place in the Youth Lounge/Apartment.

High Holidays 5778 - Reservation Deadline Sept. 6

Kol HaNe'arim Canopy Dedication Project - Deadline Extended to Sept. 6!
In honor of Chaim and Rena Fruchter, whose exceptional devotion to family, communal art and Torah inspire us all, this year’s Gala launched a new communal project to celebrate our Ohev village, and support Ohev’s commitment to children and community. 

Rena, and artists from Ohev Sholom, will lovingly create a large silk canopy that will be used annually when we invite all the children of Ohev Sholom to gather during the Kol HaNe'arim aliyah on Simchat Torah.

We invite everyone to participate in this communal celebration of childhood by sponsoring leaves to adorn the canopy. Dedicate a leaf for your family, children, grandchildren, loved ones and friends. The canopy will be unveiled at Simchat Torah on Friday, October 13, 2017 and leaves will be added annually.

Food Drive for the Capital Kosher Pantry
During this somber time of year, your support for the Capital Kosher Pantry of Yad Yehuda is as significant as ever. Please help to sustain our logal brothers and sisters in need by donating non-perishable food in sealed, non-breakable containers, within the "use by" date. Juices, cereal, protein, macaroni and cheese, baking goods (in bags), and diapers are very much appreciated. A collection box is located in the hallway.
