We are saddened to announce the passing of Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Finman z"l, father of Hodayah Finman. Hodayah is currently sitting shiva in Far Rockaway, NY. There will be a zoom shiva on Sunday from 5-6pm athttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/87460810479?pwd=QUZ6WTJ4K1RMZ3cxbllha0dVYWVzZz09

• As communicated by the Board last week, you must be up to date with your dues (or have a plan agreed to with our new Executive Director, David Paris) by the end of December to be eligible to participate in the previously described community vote (and to attend one of the community meals with the candidates). • If you have any questions you would like to have considered for the Saturday night Q&A, please email them to ProbehQuestions@ostns.org by Monday, January 2.

Ohev Sholom is part of the Returning Citizens Assistance Network, which is a local faith-based network that provides help to local families in dire need. This season the RCAN is raising funds to help six local families during the holiday season, most of which need help with putting food on the table and with other day-to-day needs. Please join us as a community in donating to help these families. You can do so at www.nyapc.org. Select “Give Now” and then pick RCAN from the drop down menu. In the comments please write "Ohev Sholom" so that we can track our numbers.
