Update from the Chesed Committee
As the winter holidays approach, the Chesed Committee has worked with the shul's local mutual aid chapter (Ward 4 Mutual Aid) to "adopt" a couple families for the holidays. We've created an Amazon list based on the kids' wishes. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/5ACQ8VW75OI3?ref_=wl_share
To make sure that we have time to wrap and deliver the gifts, please make sure to choose a shipping option that ensures packages will be delivered by Dec. 21.

Support Local Families in Need for the Holidays
Ohev Sholom is part of the Returning Citizens Assistance Network, which is a local faith-based network that provides help to local families in dire need. This season the RCAN is raising funds to help six local families during the holiday season, most of which need help with putting food on the table and with other day-to-day needs. Please join us as a community in donating to help these families. You can do so at www.nyapc.org. Select “Give Now” and then pick RCAN from the drop down menu. In the comments please write "Ohev Sholom" so that we can track our numbers.
For more information about these six families please click on this link. Thank you!
