Ohev Goes to Kent Island: postponed due to rain. Thank you so much to members Nicole Goldstein and Franklin Rubinstein for their generous offer to host Ohev Goes to Kent Island this Sunday. We look forward to rescheduling this wonderful opportunity for community building, swimming, boating and barbecue on the Chesapeake!

It is customary for the clergy of the Synagogue to give a major address every year between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This year, Dr. Eisenstat will speak about the book of Jonah, its message, and why we read it on the afternoon of Yom Kippur.

4:15 pm | Additional Yizkor Service - Located in the Tent | Please join Rabbanit Sperling for a special Yom Kippur Yizkor service to remember those dear to us in our lives whom we've lost. We will also pray for those who died in the Shoah and in service to the IDF. We will also take some time to reflect on all those from our congregation who died in the past two years, including those from Covid.
