We are saddened to announce the passing of Aron Greenfield z"l, father of Nadine Greenfield-Binstock (Andy), grandfather to Eliav, Hadas, and Sheyn, and husband to Martha.  Funeral and Shiva information to follow.

Ohev Goes to Kent Island: postponed due to rain. Thank you so much to members Nicole Goldstein and Franklin Rubinstein for their generous offer to host Ohev Goes to Kent Island this Sunday. We look forward to rescheduling this wonderful opportunity for community building, swimming, boating and barbecue on the Chesapeake!

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with Rosh Hashanah youth programming and those who have signed up to lead programming on Yom Kippur. We are seeking more volunteers for youth groups on Yom Kippur. Complete information below!

Save the date for a special Sukkot Shabbat Chol Hamoed dinner on Oct. 14, followed by a communal tisch in the Ohev Sukkah. More details coming soon!​​​​​​​

Sukkah Decorating/Book Swap on October 9 at 12-noon in the sukkah! 
Please join us to decorate our Ohev Sukkah and get some new books to read over Sukkot! You bring your creativity and books; we'll provide the decoration materials.

It is customary for the clergy of the Synagogue to give a major address every year between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This year, Dr. Eisenstat will speak about the book of Jonah, its message, and why we read it on the afternoon of Yom Kippur.

8:30 am | Shacharit with Yizkor ~10:30 AM and a Dvar Torah by Rabbanit Aliza Sperling
4:15 pm | Additional Yizkor Service - Located in the Tent | Please join Rabbanit Sperling for a special Yom Kippur Yizkor service to remember those dear to us in our lives whom we've lost. We will also pray for those who died in the Shoah and in service to the IDF.  We will also take some time to reflect on all those from our congregation who died in the past two years, including those from Covid.
