We will assemble at 4:30 PM at the Herzfeld residence (1401 Floral Street) and dance & walk to Ohev Sholom - The National Synagogue (1600 Jonquil Street).
Joining us in the parade will be:
- Local Dignitaries (including Mayor Muriel Bowser, Commissioner Phyllis Greene, and other City Council members)
- Local Rabbis and Spiritual Leaders
- Two Torah trucks (Children can ride on trucks and help hand out Pekelech, Crowns, and Torah balloons!)
- DC’s Different Drummers Marching Band
- DC Fire Truck (driven by Commander William Wright)
- Giant Chuppah
- Our Cub Scout Troop!
- Vintage 1983 Delorean
- 1964 Cadillac Coup DeVille
- 1972 Beetle
- 1950 Ford F1 Stake Body Truck
- 1991 Lamborghini
Then we will dance with the Torah in our shul with music from Kol Chayim orchestra read the priestly blessing from the Torah and enjoy a festive barbecue!
Join us for a BBQ at Ohev Sholom Following the Parade!
Featuring delicious food prepared by Chef Shmuel Jonas!
